Mr. Clancy's review is correct.This "Club Mix" is NOT the version used as the opening theme for the HBO show, True Blood.Mr. Westermann's review is incorrect.The version on Jace Everett's Album (and the "True Blood" album) is the one you should buy if you are looking for the show theme version.This club version is good too, but different than the HBO version. Posted on August 15, 2010 Lewis Ellingsen says... If you came to Amazon looking for the actual version of the song from the show's intro, THIS one right here, the Club Mix, is the one you want. I despise country music, but this is one song I am willing to make an exception for. I can see why the persons responsible for music selection on the True Blood program chose this song. Its eerie, especially when combined with the show's really creepy intro, and has some pretty dark lyrical concepts for a country song. This version also still sounds somewhat country and noth the awful poprock production that is plaguing most of what passes off for country these days. Posted on August 17, 2010 Tana Geissler says...
